The 2009 CBR Picnic Was A Success!!
The annual CBR picnic for our adopting families and volunteers was another great success with over 100 people attending with their darling rescue beagles! We were blessed with wonderful weather (Mother Nature held off with her rain until we were done) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We would like to thank the following vendors for their most generous donations:
Petco in Westminster McGuckin Hardware in Boulder Whole Foods Market South Glenn in Centennial Dozens Restaurant in Denver LePeep Restaurant in Westminster LePeep Restaurant in Boulder Racine's Restaurant in Denver Tattered Cover Book Store in Denver Macaroni Grill in Westminster King Soopers in Westminster KBDI--Channel 12
We also want to thank our wonderful volunteers who gave their help to us on Saturday with set up, working the rescue trading post, picking up the agility equipment and clean up. Without them, we would not be able to do this event and have it be the success it is. A rescue is only as good as its volunteers and we think we have the absolute BEST! We hope to be able to post some picnic pictures very soon, so be on the look out for them!

Product Safety Alert
As Spring arrives, many will be working on their yards and gardens. A newer product out this year is called Cocoa Mulch. It's sold at Target and Home Depot and other stores. The product may be popular since it smells like chocolate and says it keeps cats away, but it is also deadly to dogs. Please keep this product out of your yard and let others know so your pets and their's will be safe. Please click here to read more on this.

Welcome to the Colorado Beagle Rescue
CBR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt, tax-deductible organization operated by volunteers dedicated to the welfare of the Beagle breed. relies completely on donations to support itself. When a beagle is placed in a new home a donation is requested in order to help with the expenses of running the rescue service - spaying, neutering, advertising, veterinary care, tags, books, administrative expenses, etc.
Please click here to donate to CBR.
To meet a CBR dog, you must come to the location where the dog is kept or arrange for transportation. There is no facility available to house the dogs that are available for adoption. Dogs are kept in their own home, foster home, kennel, or shelter until adopted.
